Family is big at Strong's Marine. Stewart Strong started Strong's back in 1945 with a marina in Lindenhurst called Strong & Holland. Dave and Dottie established the Mattituck Marina in 1965. Today Jeff and Re have grown Strong's to include businesses in Mattituck, Flanders/Northampton, Southampton, and Port Washington at Brewer Capri Marina West. The family tradition continues into its fourth generation with sons, Jay leading the Sales Team and Ryan who leads the Operations of all locations.

Strong's makes boating FUN bringing families together on the water! Hosting events including; the annual "Fear Buster" – Learning How to Navigate the Shinnecock Locks, Annual Rendezvous to Various Locations, and annual BBQ's, bringing boaters together.
All Strong's on water locations in Mattituck, Flanders/Northampton, and Southampton are accessible to the Peconic Bay, with quick access to the Ocean via the Shinnecock Canal. At Strong's you'll find new Cobalt, Pursuit, and Regal boats 19-52' along with a large selection of pre-enjoyed boats. Strong's Marine Earns the Prestigous Marina of the Year Award for 2002
 On November 20th, Jeff Strong was presented with the 2002 Marina of the Year award by Tinsley Preston of Marina Dock Age magazine.
